Crisis

During a crisis or 911 situation always specify the need for a CIT (Crisis Intervention) trained officer if police intervention is required.

Metro Crisis Services has been created to serve the 2.7 million people of the seven-county Metro Denver community. This includes all residents of Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, and Jefferson counties, regardless of their age, income or insurance, or type of problems.

Metro Crisis Line 888-885-1222 will help anyone with a "client-defined crisis." If someone calls with something that is a crisis to him or her, thry take it seriously.

Services for people outside the Denver Metro area

Metro Crisis Line accepts all calls, 24/7/365, regardless of where the calls come from. We sometimes receive calls from people who are in Colorado but not in the Metro Denver area; we also receive calls from people who are calling from outside the state of Colorado. Though we always provide immediate professional help for all callers, we encourage out-of-area callers to use their local resources.

The Metro Crisis website has an extensive data base and search function to help you find resources fast.
